Circus Lightning Kills Seven at River Falls

A River Falls dispatch reports Ringling Bros circus struck by lightning during a thunderstorm. False Fire Alarm Tramples Panic at Russian Church

A false alarm of fire during a Volga region church procession caused a deadly rush at Romano church in Berisog lebsk. Firefighters found the door locked and after forcing it, many pilgrims were knocked down or crushed, with 126 women and 10 men confirmed dead and others fatally injured leaping from windows.

Cyclone Ravages Adair County Leaving Homes Destroyed

A cyclone tore through Adair County to the southwest of town, blowing down brick walls and damaging a quarter mile wide strip. Milwaukee train wreck attempt near Dalton South Dakota

Mitchell June 22 An attempt to wreck the Milwaukee passenger train due here at 4 40 am occurred just after it passed Dalton east of Bridgewater A large bridge timber and a big boulder were set on the track the engineer slowed and the train stayed on the rails the pilot was smashed two men were seen on the prairie about a mile away officials along the line were alerted this is the third or fourth such attempt in two years in the same area.
