In Pittspore Pennsylvania on June 5 at an afternoon session of the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers a proposal from Samuel Dur of Steubenville Ohio offered forty acres of ground and muck iron for a cooperative mill. The readmission of the nailers was approved with restrictions not made public.

Illinois Democratic Convention Elects Orendorf Leader

Springfield report shows the Illinois state Democratic central committee electing Alfred H. Orendorf as member at large and naming him chairman of the committees.
