Witness J. H. Geiger testified in the Clark senatorial investigation case that he voted for Clark only because of the Republican caucus. He admitted taking 8600 in money home after the legislature adjourned, earning 1500 to 1800 from faro games and finding 1000 in $100 bills in his room.
