Dynamite Pack Found Near Jersey Central Rail Line
Easton Pa Dec 29 trackmen found a large square package wrapped with two shawl straps near the outside rail on the down track near Fantwood station. Inside a blocking box held matches arranged to ignite, beneath were fifty eight cartridges of dynamite and a quantity of No 1 giant powder. Rail workers say the device appeared meant to blow up a train and its origin remains unknown.

Adventure of the Crew on the Albert Rescue at Sea
The American ship Albert sailing from New York to Shanghai with oil aboard twenty one people including Captain Derris Park, wife and son, faced a lightning strike on November 14.
