Tacoma Dec 10 All freight trains on the Cascade division from Tacoma to Pasco 253 miles are tied up as conductors and brakemen refuse a bond requirement. Superintendent Powell ordered bonds for all freight conductors, matching passenger conductors. About 90 men, 28 crews, demand higher pay with brakemen at 80 and conductors at 120 monthly, bonds revoked, and delayed-time pay sought.
