It notes plans for two churches a large hotel a revamped Wells House and post office move as well as a town incorporation talk and a one mile square corporate limit. Mrs. John Tapper dies in Minnehaha incident near Summit Avenue in St Paul. While visiting Mrs Abner Godfrey with her sister, Tapper unhitched a horse after a call and the sleigh was overturned when the horse backed suddenly. She was crushed and died almost instantly.

Bee fright drives man to town for medical help

A man at Early County News reports a negro worker at a sugar mill swallowed a bee while drinking cane juice. The sting and fear caused him to jump onto a nearby horse and ride to town in a panic, where Dr. Doster treated him with medicine to relieve the bee and the scare.
