Income tax plan confines to corporations and successions
Washington reports that the Ways and Means Committee will limit the income tax to net earnings of corporations and to successions and legacies. Proposals for a broad personal income tax over $5,000 were dropped, with officials arguing corporations bear the main tax burden.
