Fatal Lake Dellwood Accident Kills Four Lynchers
A St Paul group visiting B W Newstrom at Dellwood near White Bear Lake were killed when a horse drawn buggy balked at a backing train. Mr Newstrom and Mrs Newstrom with Mr and Mrs Nordstrom and Mr and Mrs Clouse perished. their child survived. The incident occurred midday near the Dellwood station as a train backed down the track. The horse also died in the crash.

Three Boys Drown in Red Lake River Near Grand Forks
A triple drowning occurred in Grand Forks North Dakota as three boys aged 18 11 and 12 named John Bulgick Joseph Bulgick and Deloid Cote swam in Red Lake River opposite the city. The two oldest began a race then exhausted themselves and sank. The younger tried to help and also drowned. A passing farmer recovered John Bulgick’s body after brief resuscitation attempts. The other two bodies had not yet been recovered.
