Runaways From Brattleboro Leave for San Francisco
Fred Bigelow and Benjamin Hildreth both sixteen left Brattleboro last week for San Francisco without funds. They rode a freight to South Vernon then walked to Northfield, Musa. Hildreth returned to Brattleboro Thursday and later tried to meet Bigelow in New London, Conn. Bigelow abandoned the westward trip and is said to be working near Boston.
