After a tumultuous session in Bestival hall Brattleboro residents voted in favor of municipal ownership of a water system but declined to set a firm timetable. The meeting, begun at 8 pm, heard opinions on Sunset Lake and the village’s aqueduct plans, and adjourned without committing to immediate construction or purchase.
