The ceremony featured a large crowd, floral decorations, and a Shawnee Tribe and Pocahontas degree group attending as guests. The couple will reside on South Market Street before leaving for a Tennessee home.

Elderly Lady Injured After College Commencement
Mrs. A. E. Carroll, mother of Mrs. J. T. Fisher of 335 North Main, fell from a five to six foot drop while leaving Valley Female College after commencement. She suffered a broken right ankle and left hip. Officer Neville and Dr. Love attended, neighbors aided, and she was resting easier this morning.
