The Idlewild Grove camp meeting in Middletown opened Saturday night with several thousand attending. Dr. Malcolm Macgregor of Atlanta preached three times on Paul’s concern for kinfolk peace with God through faith and the fight to the hiding place. The meeting drew strong notices and looks to be highly profitable as guests Mr and Mrs Bush arrive Tuesday and Dr Wharton Wednesday to lead until close.

Death of Miss Ann Reid at Main Street home
Miss Ann Reid died shortly after 4 o clock yesterday morning at Mr P Reardon’s home on Main Street. Cholera morbus caused the death at age 69 despite medical attention. Funeral will be at 5 this afternoon from the Lutheran Church. She leaves three brothers and two sisters and is aunt to Mrs Reardon and George and Ernest Bailey.
