Big Barn Fire Destroys Farm Near Paris Virginia
A large barn on Mr. Lewis Strother's farm near Paris Virginia and near Millwood burned about 9 PM destroying 400 bushels of wheat hay grain and farm equipment. Large Excursion To the Cities

At Winchester there were 156 passengers from points south of Winchester, 220 tickets were sold in this city, and 551 were aboard by Harpers Ferry. Clarke County To Build Bridges Across Shenandoah
At a Berryville courthouse meeting Clarke county leaders urged the supervisors to hire an engineer to draft plans for bridges at Castleman and Berry ferries over the Shenandoah river.
