How to Mark Ballot in Virginia Election Instructions
Readers are urged to disregard misprinted guidance from The Star of Monday October 26. The Australian ballot is used in Virginia and voters should mark by striking through entire candidate names to vote against them. To vote Democratic, strike through all presidential candidates except Bryan and Kern, and ensure at least three fourths of names are marked. Do not strike electors unless choosing specific presidential electors. Mark the Congress candidate you oppose, leaving James Hay’s name.
