Died Far from Birthplace Cyrus E Dancey Dies in Winchester
Cyrus E Dancey 34 native of Detroit and longtime Pittsburg resident died in Winchester after a brief pneumonia illness. He leaves a widow and a two year old son, a mother, two sisters Edith and Mary, and a brother O. F. Dancey. He had worked as a linotype operator for Eddy Press in Winchester and previously in Pittsburgh. The body will be sent to Detroit for burial.

Miss Nellie Norris, 26, of Culpeper Court House Virginia, died at 1.45 am at the home of her cousins Mr and Mrs C W Tanquary Barnt Factory after a brief illness of gastric fever. Her body was sent to Culpeper for the funeral. She had taught in the county while serving as governess. She leaves her mother two brothers Claude and Buford Norris and three sisters Nannie Lulu and Lillie Norris. Her father is deceased.

Mrs Mitchell Buried at Sacred Heart in Winchester
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Mitchell widow of Philip Mitchell of White Post Clarke county were held at Sacred Heart Church with Rev John McVeery officiating. She died of consumption yesterday at Lucky Hit the home of her niece Mrs J C Bowie. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery. She was 66 years old and survived by her son Philip Mitchell. The remains were brought to Winchester from Clarke county this morning.

Son of Wealthy Orchard Man Dies After Operations
Albert Nicodemus, son of Mr and Mrs John A Nicodemus of Zellinger Pennsylvania, died of heart failure following appendectomy operations performed Wednesday and Friday last week. He had been ill a week, rallied after surgeries, but his condition worsened Thursday afternoon and he died Thursday night. He is survived by parents, brothers Samuel Edgemont Charles Winchester Howard and sisters Eleanor and Margaret Nicodemus. Funeral held Saturday at 11 in Waynesboro Reformed Church with interment in Waynesboro Cemetery. Nicodemus was born and raised in Edgemont and helped run his father’s farm near Zellinger with his older brother Edward.

Winchester liveryman Harry Huff reports a stranger hired a black mare with a red rubber-tired buggy for an hour yesterday and vanished. The man gave a name sounding like Hoffman. Huff has alerted nearby towns by telephone but the missing pair has not yet been found.
