County Abandons Part of a Road
The Frederick County Board of Supervisors decided to abandon the portion of the North Frederick Turnpike within the city limits from J M Hott's store to the northern end of Fairmont Avenue. They ruled the road beyond Hott's store is in the city and beyond county jurisdiction. Official notice will precede the Common Council meeting.

Annual toll on Northwestern Grade offered in March dates
All persons desiring annual toll on the Northwestern Grade must apply to John Wesley Larrie Supt at the tollgate Mrs. Andersons on March 28 and 30 and Parish's Store on March 31. Parties missing the dates pay by the trip until they take out the toll by the year. No annual rates after April 30. By order of the Board of Supervisors.
