Knight born 1837 on Knight's Island Cecil county left a wife Maria Groome Knight a son James Groome Knight and four daughters. He served as Cecil county state senator in 1874 and 1876 and in the House of Delegates in 1880.

Mrs Annie Hanen Dies of Cancer at 42
Mrs P Annie Hanen wife of S P Hanen died yesterday afternoon at No 113 West Germain Street after a long cancer illness aged 42. She leaves husband a son William R W Hanen and two daughters Antte Lb and Mary V Mianen. Funeral services were held at 2 pm at Fair view Church by Rev Roy Schmucker with interment in the church graveyard.
