Fisher, a renowned Virginia woolen mill superintendent, died of heart failure at Miss Walls boarding house on North Market Street after an eleven week illness linked to varicose veins and a recent leg amputation. He had recently left Virginia Woolen Mills and was a longtime Winchester resident. Funeral services are set for Braddock Street Methodist Episcopal Church South with interment at Mount Hebron Cemetery. Virginia Woolen Mills employees will attend in a body.

Glass Windows Shattered In Robinson Brothers Store
Two eight by twelve foot plate glass panes for the new front at Robinson Brothers on North Main were broken while unloading from a city crate. Each pane cost about 75 dollars and the mishap occurred as workmen moved the glass from the depot to the alley between Horsey and Atwell and Haddox buildings. The accident will delay improvements by weeks.
