The eighty fourth annual University of Virginia exercises in Cabell Hall saw ninety two degrees conferred with none honorary. A loving cup was given to President Alderman by the faculty. Phi Beta Kappa met in Madison Hall with twenty one new fellows. Dr Edgar Lovett delivered the keynote address and Armistead Gordon read the annual poem. Banquet and ball wrapped the week after a day of receptions.
