Children Hold Notable Day at Market Street Methodist Church
The Market Street Methodist Episcopal Church auditorium overflowed with a large crowd for the annual Children’s Day. The program featured pieces by children, recitations, readings, and singing choruses with the Sunday School orchestra. Seven Years Sentence In Pen In Virginia Murder Case
The Evening Star reports Guard Dovell from the state penitentiary escorted Reynolds Carlisle to Richmond to begin a seven year sentence for the murder of John D. Krambling. Krambling was struck on December 21, 1904, and died on Christmas Day from the injury.
