Lightning Strikes at Bunker Hill causes minor damages
A heavy storm at Bunker Hill West Virginia on June 1 brought thunder and vivid lightning. A bolt struck a locust tree by the Methodist Episcopal Church, breaking a telephone wire but causing no church damage. Mrs Ann Rogers and Mrs Cora Laise visited relatives nearby. Mr and Mrs F Gardner returned from Martinsburg and other places. remodeling plans for the church are underway.
