Widely Known Winchester Brick Manufacturer Dies After Stroke
Edward M. Barr, prominent Winchester brick maker, died at 6 40 PM Monday at his home 827 North Wad dock street after a stroke. He built a large local business, owned one of the section’s largest plants, and was beloved for his noble character and generous nature.
