The third annual History Camp No 34 banquet at the Charles Rouss Fire Company hall drew over 250 members and guests. James J. Lumley presided as toastmaster with an all star musical program by Jenkins's orchestra. Congressman J W Collier gave the chief address on The General Good of Our Order. Dr Walter Cox welcomed the guests and Rev Dr J H Lacy spoke on The Ladies. Hickory Camp, one of the oldest Woodmen chapters, has grown from 62 to over 140 members in recent years.

Middletown farmers attend week of orchard and farm topics
A large audience of Frederick and nearby county farmers gathered in Middletown Virginia for the first session of a moral school focusing on orchard care pruning and early care. Prof. Price and Prof. Starcher led talks with demonstrations at the Weylery orchard and the program runs daily through the week with topics on spraying insects diseases packing livestock and dairy herd improvement.

Will Probate Challenge by Wimsatt Heir Over $50,000 Estate
Mrs. Bertha McSherry Wimsatt and Mrs. Caroline Spurrier McSherry file a caveat in Frederick Orphans Court against the will of Clara McSherry McAleer, alleging undue influence and incapacity. They seek to annul probate and compel executors to answer under oath. The will, dated March 30, 1910, leaves $5 to each of several children and distributes the residue, including the family home, among Alvey and Spurrier McSherry and William Clinton McSherry. The estate is valued at about $50,000.

Goes To Jail For Stealing Jewelry
Wesley a colored boy about 12 years old was sent to jail for 30 days after a police court hearing on charges of stealing a watch from Capper and a ring from Graybear, both jewelers on West Water Street. Officer Neville detained him and recovered the watch and ring from the boy. The defense offered little, and the case was straightforward.
