In the February term circuit court Judge T W Harrison refused to set aside a decree of divorce from bed and board granted to Clark Purtlebaugh. Amanda Purtlebaugh claimed intimidation prevented full testimony and sought alimony and legal fees. Prosecution Stops Cases Under Byrd Liquor Law

In Corporation Court Judge William M. Atkinson dismissed the Commonwealth cases against C. A. Bahiman Anthony Graer and Fred Wood for violating the Byrd liquor law. Prosecutor James P. Reardon cited hung juries in similar trials and the court found no justification to proceed. No charges remain pending against them.

Man Who Brought Suit Must Pay Court Costs

Charles A. Cooper, a former caterer, sued Dr. John M. Weicht for 23 dollars claiming work done. Weicht argued the bill was 2 dollars and offered payment, which Cooper refused. Judge Elvo H. Harrison dismissed the attachment case and taxed costs against Cooper totaling about 18 dollars.

Miss Fuller Returns Home After Hospital Operation
