A woman burned in a home fire yesterday on James Street is improving at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Revere Glass reports no complications and says she is not suffering much from the burns, giving her a fairly good chance to recover despite the harsh accident.
Barr Property to Be Sold at Auction on Saturday
The Barr property at 160 North Main Street, a three story brick business stand owned by the late Oscar Barr, will be sold by auction in front of Cone’s office on February 5. The ad notes it as one of the finest business stands in the city.
