Charles Murray Killed in Brunswick Freight Yard Accident
Charles Murray, 66, a veteran Baltimore and Ohio Railroad freight conductor from Brunswick, was killed in a yard accident at Martinsburg West Virginia. Death of Waynesboro native William Washbaugh at 78
Prominent Waynesboro Pa. figure William Washbaugh died after a heart illness aged 78 in Winchester. Born February 19 1833 in Chester, he moved to Waynesboro in 1852 and built a cigar business with his son W T Washbaugh. He served as mayor, led public health efforts, helped establish Waynesboro Printing Co., and was active in Acacia Lodge. Funeral at family home Friday at 2 pm with interment in Green Hill Cemetery.
