A 15 year old Greenspring clerk Irvan M Willson confessed to a year long mail theft scheme after decoy letters with six dollars were found missing from a Greenspring post office pouch. Inspectors Koons and Robinson trapped him by using decoy mail sent from Romney to Cumberland. He admitted stealing from letters and destroying checks and orders.

Kansas City dispatch reports Clay Clement died suddenly at University Hospital from anaemic poisoning after a week’s engagement. Born December 31, 1868 in Woodford County Illinois, he trained at the University of Chicago and pursued acting since 1884.
