Harrison E. White 72 died at his home near Lebanon Church on Monday from heart trouble. Col Samuel S. Thomas Sr aged 69 died in Berryville after a heart attack suffered early yesterday. A native of Baltimore he served on Governor J. Hoge Tyler’s staff and lived at Arcadia near the Shenandoah. Funeral services will be at Grace Episcopal Church Friday at 3 PM with burial in Green Hill Cemetery. His widow former Miss Louise Buchanan survives.
