Buckleman Burned To Death In Martinsburg Home
Jacob Buckleman a longtime Baltimore and Ohio Railroad employee aged 63 was found aflame at his Martinsburg West Virginia home after likely collapsing from illness. His wife, ill herself, crawled from bed to try to smother the blaze but could not save him. A physician said apoplexy may have caused his death as his clothing ignited from a lamp.
