In DeHaven on February 12, Miss Lottie DeHaven daughter of Mrs Elizabeth Bran hon and Mr Clayter H White son of farmer Camilus White wed in Hagerstown last week. The courtship was kept secret with no prior notice to friends. The bride’s mother has been married twice, her first husband Oliver DeHaven having died years ago.

The Bitty Kerlands Minstrel Troupe arrived in Winchester at 12.30 today from Martinsburg West Virginia aboard the Baltimore and Ohio. They perform a street parade and a concert in front of Hable's store with the auditorium gallery to be opened to colored people this evening.
Jack Berlin 78, a wealthy Clarke County resident, died at his home near White Post yesterday evening. His nearest relative is nephew Albert Berlin of White Post. Funeral services will be held at White Post tomorrow.

The 62 year old worked for Davis Coal and Coke Company and resided in Westernport with his son in law Mr Doddsman after his wife Katie Newcomb Stump died two years ago. He leaves three children Mrs J A Burns of Washington DC Mrs J A Doddsman and Albert Stump of Westernport.
Whitacre Feb 12 Mr Lacey Nixon aged 33 died on the railroad near Cumberland Maryland after a Thursday afternoon incident. He was a railroad employee and the cause remains undetermined. Survived by a wife, father Edward Nixon of Martinsburg and mother Cumberland aunt Mrs Lemuel Pugh. Additional notes mention local visits and illnesses in the community.
Mr George W Garvin and Mr W J Manning close a deal for a lot of ground just north of Garvin’s grain elevator. The sale price is $400.
