Major Walter A. Donaldson longtime superintendent of the National Cemetery Baltimore died at his home in the cemetery grounds after a week of blood poisoning following a bruise to a knuckle. Born in Chester England in 1827 he had a storied acting life with Juvius Booth and Edwin Forrest, and had run London Park National Cemetery for eight years. The will of Perry C. Gore a former Frederick County sheriff was admitted to probate in the County Court today. The document dated January 12 1901 and written by Gore names Laura C. Gore as executrix without security and leaves about 15000 in real estate stocks bonds mortgages and personal property to his widow Lena C. Gore and Walter Thomas Gore with equal shares and contingent distributions after the widow's death. A life insurance policy of 2000 is payable to the wife.
