Martha Grim Dies in Carpers Valley County
Mrs. Martha Grim widow of Daniel Grim died Saturday afternoon at her son Clinton Grim’s home in Carpers Valley after a long illness. Born February 1834 she belonged to the Carper family of Frederick County. Survived by three sons Clinton William of Frederick County and Walter of Hagerstown aunt to James and David Carper of Winchester. Funeral services were held at Mount Hebron Cemetery chapel by Rev. John M. Kline of the Southern Methodist Church and she was interred in the family lot.

Survived by two brothers and two sisters, she was a devoted church member and respected for her Christian character.
