Accountants pursue the details of the Front Royal Milling Company assignment leaving about fifty to sixty Warren County farmers in the hole for wheat sold to the mill. J W Welfrey and father own the stock after buying out founders. Death of Mr George H Bender Father of Local Residents
Mr George H Bender who died in Washington last week was the father of Mrs John Winkfield of North Kent street and of Mrs Ellen May Shelton and Mr William Bender of Washington. Born on Bolivar Heights near Harpers Ferry, he married a Krepps daughter. He lived in Washington for years and was buried in the Lutheran Cemetery at Bolivar several days ago.
