Richmond engineer Col Wilfred B E Cutshaw dies in Richmond
Col Wilfred B E Cutshaw city engineer of Richmond died at his residence on Thursday night. He served in the Confederate Army rising to lieutenant colonel and was wounded at Winchester in 1862. After the war he held a cadet command post at VMI before readmission to the Confederate Army in 1868. He was buried in Richmond this afternoon.

Berryville Virginia December 21 Charles Edward Lippitt a Clarke county resident and farmer died after a week illness at his home Elmington aged 78 He served as a Confederate Army surgeon in Rosser's Brigade Fifty Seventh Virginia Regiment and saw action from John Brown raid to Appomattox His funeral will be at Grace Episcopal Church Berryville Sunday at 2 pm burial in Green Hill Cemetery He survived by two sons Dr Thomas Lippitt Bowles F Lippitt and three daughters Nannie Eliza and Mary Wattles He belonged to the J B B Stuart Confederate Camp and was respected by many in Clarke county Virginia Washington DC and Alexandria are among places associated with his family.
