Chas Hardsock a 30 year old car inspector for Swift d Co was struck on the Baltimore and Ohio main line between Brunswick and Knoxville Md. His head and right arm were severed and he died instantly. A wife and four children remain in destitute circumstances. After the impact the trains halted and his remains were identified by letters in his pockets.
