Winchester Presbytery met at 11 o clock at the Presbyterian Church to change the regular session date from September 12 at Stones Chapel Clarke county. The meeting moved to October 19 due to chapel improvements with Rev. D. H. Scanlon as pastor. Rev. F. M. Wood of Martinsburg served as moderator and Rev. Ashlin White of Gerrardstown as clerk.

Infant Dies After Fire at Bel Bud Home
An infant of Mr and Mrs Charles Whitley died after a blaze at their home near Bel Bud. The child who had whooping cough contracted pneumonia from the exposure and excitement and died yesterday. The mother and child were rescued earlier by Mr Whitley. The family previously faced tragedy when Mr Whir t was struck by lightning weeks before. The funeral was held at Macedonia at 4 o clock this afternoon.
