Thrown From Buggy By Scared Horse Near Home
Mr and Mrs William Swimley of Lake View were badly injured when a dog at Charles Carver s place frightened their horse near Winchester. The frightened horse dashed, overturned the buggy on an embankment, throwing the occupants into the road. Mr Swimley kept the reins to regain control while both suffered painful cuts and bruises.

Edmondson Trial Postponed to Monday in Middletown Case
The trial of ex Mayor David E. Edmondson of Middletown was postponed to Monday April 13 before Judge Wm. M. Atkinson in Frederick County Court. Prosecutor R. E. Byrd cited the need to present a special grand jury and noted indictments against Edmondson for a fire at C. E. Edmondson’s Middletown store on February 17, 1903. About eighty witnesses arrived in Winchester and faced potential penalties for nonappearance. Edmondson is represented by Holmes Boyd Jr. and Harry R. Kern.

A small pony owned by Ralph Savage of this city ran away on Piccadilly street while drawing a pony-cart. It dashed along the road injuring itself after a fall. No one in the cart was harmed and the animal was later left standing after a passing wagon frightened it.

Train Delayed by Wreck Near Harpers Ferry
