A Monday meeting started a move to keep Clark county 1909 pooled tobacco in Equity redrying plant rather than shipping to Louisville for market. The Burley Tobacco Society ordered about one hundred hogsheads sent to Louisville, but Equity Redrying refuses, citing a contract to hold until sold. A committee was appointed to discuss with the Burley Society Executive Board in Lexington. Farmers at the courthouse urged selling at home without Burley aid and adopted a resolution granting Equity and the Board discretion to decide whether to deliver the tobacco to Lexington, aiming to protect farmers’ interests.

Deaths and Funerals Miss Annie Gnadinger
Miss Annie Gnadinger formerly of this city and now in Cynthiana died in Chicago while there for medical treatment. Her remains will be brought to Cynthiana Tuesday and burial is expected Wednesday. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. A. Gnadinger and was greatly beloved. News of her death is received with deep regret by friends here.

Parrish Rites Planned After Lexington Death
Mr. D. H. Parrish died in Lexington Tuesday morning at 3 10. The remains will be brought to Winchester for funeral services at 2 PM Wednesday at the residence of Mr. Phil Parrish. Burial will be in Winchester cemetery. He is survived by his wife and five children, William, Charles and H T Parrish of Lexington, Phil Parrish and Mrs John Puee of this city.
