The will of the late R T G Bush was probated Monday in the county court. It was in his own handwriting with no witnesses, proven by the oaths of Tom Bush, Geo M Hart, Moffett and J A Boone. He bequeathed one half of his estate to his youngest daughter Margaret French Bush, one half of the remainder to Om Bell Bush, and the rest to Waller Q Bush and Hub Tay o W. Bush and Margaret Bush ived. Administrators Cole 8 Moffitt with R W Bowen and C G Spencer on bond were appointed. Appraisers R Gordon, Lucien Beckner and J W Chambers named to appraise the personal estate.

Massive girders moved by horses in Fed Building project
Late Monday afternoon the J. R. Martin Coal and Supply Company moved the first steel girder for the Fed Building depot project. A four-horse team backed the wagon and caused a scare when the tongue horses were struck and thrown. A second girder weighing thirteen tons will require two wagons and eight to ten horses, described as the largest masses ever moved by horses in the community.

Tobacco sales open at Planters Loose Leaf Warehouse
Tobacco sales began Tuesday morning at the Planters Loose Leaf Warehouse on Winn Avenue with about 250000 pounds in sight. Bidding was active and strong, high grades about two dollars per hundred higher, while low grades were weaker. Prices ranged from two to twenty eight dollars per hundred. J B Ramsey Baker sold 5620 pounds of fair colory tobacco at an average of 18 86 per hundred. Geo J Hunt sold 3500 pounds of medium colory tobacco at 16 17 per hundred. A few rejections noted. Next sales set for Thursday.

Purse Snatching Incident Leaves Handle Broken
The third purse snatching occurred about 6 15 pm on Monday in the city. Mrs Sallie Walden and Miss Carrie Lovett were returning from business when a man from an alley between Highland and Buckner streets snatched Walden's purse. She pursued, the thief dropped the purse, one handle broken, and the assailant identified as a negro by the victims.
