New Christian Church Nears Completion in April Dedication
The new Christian church on Hickman Street nears completion and will be ready for dedication by the third Sunday in April. Yard grading and exterior work proceed, weather permitting. An organ costing 3000 dollars, purchased from a reputable firm, is ready to be shipped. Andrew Carnegie donated 1500 dollars, with the ladies of the church supplying the other half. McEldowney wrote to Carnegie last fall. Carnegie agreed to donate while he was abroad.

New Moving Picture Show Opens After Restoration
Work began Tuesday morning to convert the Auditorium into a first class moving picture theater, with completion expected by April first for the opening show. Paper decorations in the rink ceiling are removed and sealing work proceeds rapidly. The rink will be partitioned into two sections with a soft drink emporium at the front and the theater at the rear. The rink will be open for skating Saturday afternoon and night.
