Mr. Hamilton Holt will deliver a free lecture in the chapel at Kentucky Wesleyan College on Wednesday evening. The subject is The Federation of the World as part of events marking George Washington’s birth anniversary. A large crowd is expected.

Funeral services for Mr. T. G. Bush were held at the Winchester cemetery Tuesday morning with Eld. J. W. Harding presiding. Pallbearers included J. A. Couchman, Walter Quisenberry, S. E. Bowen, Wm. Bush, Geo. W. Moore and Wm. Lowery. He died Sunday afternoon at 76 after pneumonia. Revered in the community, his passing drew wide regret and many friends offered sympathy.

Kentucky Wesleyan College and Winchester Public Schools will not hold sessions on Thursday to observe the birth anniversary of George Washington.
The Court of Appeals upholds the Bourbon Circuit Court ruling awarding the Burley Tobacco Society $40,000 against the L and N Railroad for fire damage to two Millersburg warehouses. Sparks from a passing engine destroyed 352 hogsheads of tobacco. the society and Bourbon County Board of Control led the action.
Mrs Georgia Wright of Paris remains in critical condition after a street apoplexy incident in Lexington. She was brought to St Joseph's Hospital with complete paralysis on her left side and is reported by officials as of Tuesday morning.
