Mrs Madie Lee Wood died last Sunday from a suspected gas asphyxiation at 228 Kentucky Avenue Lexington. Unable to find a local chemist, Stanley Milward and W R Milward Son undertakers sent the stomach to Winchester. Dr J H Martin agreed to perform the chemical analysis and aims to finish in a week or ten days.

WR Ed Elliott Badly Injured in Lumber Yard Accident
Mr Ed Elliott sustained severe injuries Friday afternoon when a freight crashed into a rack he was unloading lumber for R P Seabee and Son. A large board struck him, breaking his shoulder and causing internal injuries. He was taken home on Winn Avenue and was resting easily at last report.

Purse snatcher at work in city streets
Police search for a white, tall man in a derby hat and light vest after he snatched a purse from Mrs. Rainey on Hickman street and attempted another theft from Miss Feld on Highland street. The Rainey purse contained little money. both incidents happened Saturday night and the suspect fled into an alley behind the city school.

The body of Isaac Cole McClanahan, who hanged himself at Ford Friday morning in a despondent mood, was taken Saturday to Lynn Station, eight miles below Falmouth, for burial. Body of Harry Jett Brought Back for Burial
The body of Harry Jett formerly of this city who died while serving in the army in the Philippines will be brought back here for burial. He drowned after diving from a springboard striking a sunken raft, injury causing his death. The body had been kept in a vault in the Philippines awaiting arrival. He was nephew of Sam Jett and son of the late Hiram Jett, and brother of Mrs. John Lanter.

Richmond Man Commits Death by Own Action
Frank Kennedy aged 33 of Smith Ballard Street Richmond drove a knife into his heart in an adjoining room after informing his mother of his intent. He died moments later. Son of J H Kennedy a prominent Richmond citizen. Cause of death by his own action not known.

Remains of Mr J D Schell Buried in Family Graveyard
