Winchester Fire Department Holds Monthly Meeting
The Winchester Fire Department met Friday night with many members present and discussed five fires since the last meeting. Eleven new members were elected to various roles and equipment assignments were outlined, including chiefs, drivers, surgeons, and signalmen. A $100 donation from Dr W Miller of Deland Florida was earmarked for a special fund, plus $25 from Winchester Lumber to mark donor appreciation. The meeting adjourned after further business.
