Hanson Thomas W H Conner and Hansen plan to move from Winchester to Lexington to file articles of incorporation with County Clerk Theo Lewis. Capital stock fixed at 25000 dollars with 100 dollar par value. Company to manufacture and wholesale woodenware roofing drugs and sundries. Tax exemption ordinance for five years granted by the Lexington City Council.
Mr. Herbert Heflin was called to Morehead Saturday by the death of his sister Mrs. Dorse Dillon. Dillon had recently returned from New Mexico where she had an unavailing search of health. The burial will take place in Fleming county on Sunday.
Governor Woodrow Wilson delivered a straight democratic talk to the Kentucky Legislature on Friday, attacking trusts and trusteeship. He warned that big interests steer government and urged fighting artificial prosperity with facts and business insight, drawing enthusiastic applause at the Capitol and a banquet later at the Woodrow Wilson Association of Kentucky efforts.
New Jersey arrived just after 9 clock Friday morning to address the General Assembly on current issues. A demonstration honored him with leading Democrats from Blue Grass and other areas in attendance. Henry S. Breckinridge of the Woodrow Wilson Democratic Association of Kentucky presided as toastmaster. Governor James B. McCreary gave the welcome, with short addresses by Senator Claude M. Thomas and Representative Francis B. Douglas.

President R H Crossfield of Lexington Kentucky will preach at First Christian Church Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. He is a noted Kentucky speaker and will urge men young men for the ministry. Morning sermon by the pastor. President J L Clark of Kentucky Wesleyan College will speak at Central Baptist Church on Sunday morning. No evening services.

His commanding personality, easy grace, and natural manner have won wide acclaim, and a packed audience is expected. The engagement comes under the auspices of Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Grand Island Nebraska February 9 The body of ten year old Goldie Williams who vanished from home Wednesday was found Thursday afternoon in a vacant house with the head bruised and lime poured over it An apparent stranger lured her with skates and was seen with her near the Soldiers Home Two hours later she was seen with the same man who was described as about 40 and well dressed A manhunt by residents followed the search for the alleged slayer Another portion of the text covers Kentucky politics and a senate session not connected to the local crime report
Freakfort Kentucky February 10 The Kentucky Senate passed Senator L W Arnett s tax reform bill freeing stockholders in foreign corporations from state taxes and approved a higher appropriation for the Institution for the Blind from 15000 to 20000 The Moody tax classification measure to amend the constitution allowing property classification was approved 34 to 1 after a recess to greet Governor Wilson and continued deliberation on the constitutional amendment to enable property classification for taxation The session energy and Governor Wilson s visit influenced limited action while important measures moved forward
Carlisle Kentucky February 10 A blaze broke out in the residence of former Deputy Sheriff W F Megowan and spread with the roof collapsing. Neighbors battled the flames with a northwest wind and snowfall helping to restrain damage. Megowan house valued around 3000 dollars with partial insurance. adjacent Dr George B Spencer home saved with minor damage.
The Old Baptist church will not hold services Sunday due to a furnace defect that leaves the building inadequately heated.
Albuquerque N M, Feb 10. Moses N Catliff of Mt Vernon KY Friday asked the chief of police to lock him up saying he killed Robert Rigsby at Mt Vernon KY on September 27, 1910. A telegram from Kentucky confirms the confession and requests Catliff be held for extradition.
