Death of Stillborn Boy at North Main Street Home
A fourteen pound stillborn boy was delivered at the home of Mr and Mrs Chester Piersall on North Main street Monday. The infant was buried in Winchester cemetery in the afternoon. Mrs Piersall's condition has been critical but is now greatly improved.

Soup House for Worthy Poor Opens in City
A new undenominational soup house will aid the needy during extreme cold. It will open daily 11:30 to 1:30 starting Wednesday February 7 in Miss Lizzie Taylor's building.
