The King's Daughters stage a Tuesday night basketball game for girls to raise funds for the poor and suffering in Winchester. Skating runs from 7:30 to 11. The rink is donated by the Secobee brothers, with all proceeds paid by attendees.
The bowling style broom ball match between the local team and Richmond ended in a scoreless tie. Home players showcased skill but could not score due to opponents’ persistent fouling and rule violations. Next at the Auditorium is a girls basketball game, Blue vs Reds, Tuesday night with proceeds for Winchester’s poor.
