Bowden Loses Damage Suit Against Railroad Company
A jury returned a verdict for Lexington and Eastern Railroad Company in favor of Bowden who sued for 10000 for injuries after being struck by a passenger train at the Pendleton Street crossing last July. Bowden claimed negligence for not signaling before the crossing. Witnesses for the plaintiff said the train did signal.
