Our Weekly Letter from Washington on Americanism in Policy
Ambassdor Harvey's London remarks are critiqued as showing renewed American sovereignty in foreign policy. The piece contrasts prewar ideals, the league of nations, and the U.S. stance with President Harding and the current administration. It defends national independence and warns against federal overreach into state rights. It also argues capital and labor jointly drive industrial progress in the United States.
