Miss Estelle Castleman aged 69 from Clarke county Virginia died after a year of illness in Amelia Courthouse at Mrs Ward Eggleston’s home. She was born at North Hill near Berryville and was part of a prominent family with siblings Maurice Howell and Shelby Castleman and four Carter nephews. Funeral services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church Berryville with interment in Green Hill Cemetery.
