Arthur V. D onofrio known as Snuffy hosts Radio Station WINC Sunday Night Musicale. His four hour program blends nostalgia with audience requests reaching Baltimore Washington and parts of Pennsylvania West Virginia. He built a career from Branford Conn to the Army Soldiers Chorus and later public radio work.

Scenic Railroad Trip Through Potomac Valley to Petersburg
The Washington Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society will run a 1963 fall excursion October 20 from Washington Union Station at 8 a.m. via Silver Spring and Point of Rocks to Petersburg West Virginia with a layover for the Petersburg Centennial Exhibit. UVA Hospital Report Lists New Records
CHARLOTTESVILLE The University of Virginia Hospital and out patient clinics last year provided care for persons from every Virginia locality except Charles City County. The annual statistical report for the year ended June 30, 1963 shows new records were set during the 12 month period.

Hospital statistics show increases in visits and admissions
Hospital data report 16 051 persons hospitalized locally and 430 daily cefl sus on average, with 156 758 total days of care. Out patient visits reached 90 010 slightly below the prior year, while 1961 had an 8 percent rise. Emergency department visits increased substantially in recent years.
Rescue Squad to Send 30 to State Convention
Approximately 30 members of the Winchester Volunteer Rescue Squad and Ladies Auxiliary will attend the two day State Rescue Squad Association convention in Richmond this Friday and Saturday. Squad President Bill Baker said the auxiliary first aid team and senior men's first aid team would compete with other teams from across the state for honors. Baker noted that next year’s state convention will be held in Winchester.
